Detroit police seek man filmed stealing from Burger King cash register

Detroit police are working to find a man caught on camera stealing money this month from a Burger King on the city's east side.
The suspect had ordered food at the restaurant in the 17000 block of East Warren
about noon June 8, but when the cashier left the counter to find change, he "reached over and took an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency from the register," investigators said in a statement.
Authorities on Tuesday released surveillance footage of the suspect, who is described as an African-American man, 6 feet tall, 220 pounds, with a dark complexion.
