Northbound Interstate 75 has reopened at Vernor, in southwest Detroit, after being closed due to a jackknifed semi truck Wednesday.

The highway was closed for about four hours before reopening at 4:30 p.m., according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.

For a short time, all but the right lane was closed, but minutes later MDOT announced the entire northbound side of the freeway could be closed "due to a crash."
