You can't say nobody told you: Michigan State Police will conduct a traffic enforcement detail Thursday on the John C. Lodge Freeway on Detroit's west side.

Michigan State Police Lt. Mike Shaw said patrols will focus on the Lodge Freeway near Wyoming in collaboration with the Detroit Police Department.

"This combined effort will focus on speed, aggressive drivers, seatbelt use and distracted driving," Shaw wrote on the MSP's Metro Detroit-based Twitter account.

"Consider yourself warned," Shaw wrote.
