Argument leaves man dead on Detroit's east side
Detroit police are investigating a blunt-force assault early Sunday that resulted in the death of a 41-year-old man.
The victim and an unidentified suspect had an altercation that ended with a blow to the head with an object, police said. The object used in the assault was not identified by police on Sunday.
The victim later was found unresponsive by other residents of his home in the 4100 block of Mitchell Avenue, between Mack and Forest on the east side. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
