Detroit police: Man shot brother in face over argument
An argument between two brothers on Detroit's west side this week led to gunfire and one being seriously wounded, city police said.
Authorities still are probing what sparked the fight reported about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 9000 block of Schaefer. During the confrontation, one of the siblings allegedly pulled out a weapon and shot the other in the face, investigators said in a statement.
The 26-year-old victim was privately conveyed to a hospital. He was listed in critical condition Wednesday.
The brother was not in custody Wednesday night, the police department said. Other details about his status were not released.
