Man's burned body found in Detroit home
Detroit police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found Wednesday morning burned on the kitchen floor of a home on the city's west side, police say.
Police responded to the 20000 block of Fenmore — south of West Eight Mile, east of the Southfield Freeway — just after 8 a.m. and arrived to find the victim dead.
The body of the unidentified victim, believed to be in his 30s, had burns to the arms and legs, police said, and there was a gas can near the body.
At this point, the circumstances surrounding the death are unknown. The Wayne County Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy, authorities said.
