Detroit man injured after being shot in ankle
A Detroit man was shot in the ankle last night, according to police.
The incident occurred at the 9900 block of Somerset Avenue around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday.
The victim, 29, was in front of the location, heard several gunshots and realized he was hit. He suffered a gunshot wound to the left ankle, police said.
He was privately taken to a local hospital and listed in stable condition.
No suspect has been identified. The victim was uncooperative and refused to provide any details about the incident, according to officers.
