Two vehicles were carjacked overnight in Detroit, police said.

The first incident happened at the 13200 block of Fenelon Street at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday.

The male victim, 24, was leaving the location when three men approached him. Two of them were armed with handguns, according to police.

The victim was told to lay on the ground and the suspects fled in an unknown direction, taking his 2012 white Buick Regal with a Michigan plate.

The second incident occurred at the 14600 block of Cloverlawn Avenue at 1:05 a.m. Thursday.

A man, 32, was entering his vehicle when two men demanded his vehicle, police said.

The fled westbound on Lyndon Street in the victim's 2013 Hyundai Sonata with a Michigan plate. Officers were able to locate and recover the vehicle, but other circumstances are unknown.
