A 31-year-old woman was arrested Monday afternoon after allegedly luring her ex-boyfriend to a meeting and instructing her new boyfriend to shoot him multiple times.

The shooting took place just before 1 p.m. Monday on the 14700 block of Tacoma, said Officer Holly Lowe, a Detroit police spokeswoman. The area is south of East State Fair and east of Gratiot.

Police say that when the victim, a 38-year-old man, the woman, and her new boyfriend, a 41-year-old man met, the two men argued, and the woman ordered her new boyfriend to shoot her ex, which he did, multiple times.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital, where he's listed in stable condition.

Police arrested the woman but have yet to locate the male suspect.
