One man was injured and another arrested in an apparent domestic dispute Friday on Detroit's east side, city police reported.

The two started arguing about 4:30 p.m. in the 4100 block of Burns when one "fired a shot and unintentionally shot the victim," investigators said in a statement.

Authorities did not describe their relationship or release additional details.

The 31-year-old victim sustained one gunshot wound to the stomach and was rushed to a hospital. His condition was unknown early Saturday.

The suspect, also a 31-year-old man, was taken into custody.
