Two Detroit men, aged 21 and 22, have been charged with murder by the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office over the death of a 19-year-old man shot and left at a park mid-July on the city's east side.
The fatal shooting took place just after 8:15 a.m. on July 14 at the Josefiak Playlot, which is Grenier, north of East McNichols and west of Schoenherr, authorities said.
Police responded to a call of a body found and discovered the victim, Armani Keith Vanburen, 19, dead, having been shot multiple times.
Both suspects, 22-year-old Terrell Reese, and a 21-year-old Terrell Green, have been charged with first-degree premeditated murder and felony firearm. They are expected to be arraigned Thursday at Detroit's 36th District Court.
