Windows, doors vandalized at Comerica Park shops
Detroit — Repair crews are working to replace four doors and a window on businesses at Comerica Park vandalized early Monday by a man with a sledgehammer, police said.
Two doors and a window were damaged at The D Shop, a gift shop at the ballpark’s front entrance. Two doors were also damaged at The Corner Tap Room.
Police say the vandalism took place just before 2:30 a.m. They describe the suspect as a black male in his 30s who fled on foot. He was dressed in a long-sleeved shirt, a dark hoodie, jean shorts and white gym shoes.
