All lanes of westbound Interstate 94 have reopened after a semi-tractor trailer tipped over, causing a traffic backup to Van Dyke in Detroit, according to Michigan Department of Transportation officials.
The semi tipped over on its side under an overpass at about 4:30 a.m. and closed the freeway for hours, MDOT said.
The freeway's westbound lanes reopened at about 9:15 a.m., according to the agency.
