A man in his 20s was found slain in his vehicle early Monday morning after being shot on Detroit's east side, police said.

It was about 12:30 a.m., on the 11000 block of Flanders, when the victim was found, slumped over and shot, in his 2016 Dodge Challenger, said Detroit police spokesman Brian Warrick. The area is north of East Outer Drive and east of Conner.

Police recovered three shell casings from the scene, but offered no suspect description.
