Two 18-year-old men are to be arraigned Sunday on charges related to the murder and robbery of Jack Wiley Jr., an off-duty Detroit firefighter, the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office announced.

Wiley's sister found him, shot and slain, Tuesday morning at about 9:15 a.m. at his home on the 15000 block of Penrod. His vehicle had been stolen.

Within days, two suspects were arrested.

Arondez Carter and Shomari Walker, both 18, face identical charges of felony murder, first-degree premeditated murder, armed robbery, tampering with evidence, fourth-degree arson, and felony firearm.

Authorities allege that Carter and Walker went to Wiley's home to rob him, and shot and killed him during that robbery.

The suspects allegedly took items from his home and set fire to what they stole, in what authorities believe was an attempt to conceal the theft.
