Detroit police are investigating after possible human remains were discovered Thursday morning on the city's east side.

It was about 10:10 a.m. when an AT&T worker saw what police describe as "possibly human remains" behind a home on the 14000 block of Camden, said Dontae Freeman, a Detroit police spokesman. That's north of Interstate 94 and west of Chalmers.

The worker reported what they found to Detroit Police Department, which made the scene and is investigating.

At this point, it's too early to tell if the remains indeed are those of a human being.
