Man shot by 2 masked men on east side

A 33-year-old man is recovering after being shot multiple times by a pair of masked men Tuesday night on Detroit's east side, police said.

The shooting took place about 10:30 p.m. at East State Fair and Hanna, which is east of Interstate 75. 

The victim was sitting in his vehicle when the two masked men approached, guns drawn, and opened fire. The victim tried to drive away, but was still hit multiple times on his left side and arm.

After being privately transported to an area hospital, the victim was listed in stable condition.
