MSP: Motorcyclist critical after crash on I-75 in Detroit

A White Lake Township man is in critical condition after his motorcycle was involved in a crash on northbound Interstate 75 near I-94, according to the Michigan State Police.

Officials said the crash involving two motorcycles and two vehicles happened at about 12:20 a.m. Thursday and troopers continue to investigate.

According to a preliminary investigation, the motorcycles were traveling at a high rate of speed when one of the motorbikes struck a vehicle, police said. The rider of the other motorcycle lost control of the machine and struck the median barrier and a second vehicle, officials said.
