Police seek person of interest in fatal Detroit shooting

Detroit — The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating a person of interest in connection to a fatal shooting on the city's west side.
The incident occurred at 2 a.m. on Aug. 12 in the 2000 block of Livernois, near Vernor Highway. Police said the 43-year-old man entered an establishment with a group. One member of the group got into a physical altercation outside the location.
After the altercation, the 43-year-old exited the establishment when an unknown suspect fired multiple shots, killing the man.
Police are looking for a man who was present at the time who was wearing a red shirt.
