Man injured during carjacking in Woodbridge

Detroit — After a 36-year-old man's vehicle was sideswiped, he was assaulted and carjacked Friday night in the Woodbridge neighborhood, police said.
Police said the incident occurred at 10 p.m. at Grand River and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
The victim told police the suspect's vehicle sideswiped his at the intersection. The victim stopped and spoke with one of the five men in the vehicle.
The victim said the man punched him in the face and while he was knocked down, the other four took his keys and drove off in his white 2007 Dodge Charger.
He said the suspects were driving a white Suburban or Yukon.
