2 men shot at east side block party

Detroit —  Two men were shot and wounded at a block party early Sunday on the city's east side.

The double shooting took place about 12:15 a.m. on the 11000 block of Wade, which is north of Harper and just east of Conner. 

The victims, both in their 40s,  were at a block party when two armed men entered the party and fired shots. Injured in the gunfire was a 46-year-old man who was shot in both legs and left in temporary serious condition, and a 41-year-old man who took a graze wound to the head and was listed in stable condition.

Police describe the suspects only as two armed men who were last seen on Wade.
