Dispute between neighbors ends in shooting, arrest
Detroit — A neighborly dispute on the city's west side late Saturday night ended in one man being shot and the alleged shooter being arrested, police said.
The shooting took place about 10:15 p.m. on the 6000 block of Auburn, which is north of Ford Road and east of Evergreen.
The suspect, a 23-year-old man, was visiting his neighbor, a 32-year-old white msn, at his home.
The interaction soured and the two men started to argue, police say. Then the suspect allegedly pulled a gun and shot his neighbor in his stomach, right hand, and left arm.
Medics took the victim to a hospital, but his condition was not immediately available.
The suspect fled after the shooting, but was arrested when he returned to the area, police said.
