2 sought in Detroit man's slaying; $2,500 reward announced for tips
Crime Stoppers of Michigan has announced a $2,500 reward to find two men wanted in connection with a Detroit businessman's slaying reported last winter.
Roice Woods was found shot multiple times about 3:20 p.m. Feb. 21 in the 9400 block of Woodside near Livernois on the city's west side.
Relatives told investigators the 36-year-old assistant property manager had been in front of his apartment changing a flat tire when a male walked up, opened fire then fled in a red Chevrolet Malibu, authorities said Friday.
A woman was charged weeks later with first-degree murder, intimidating a witness and felony firearm in connection with the case.
Arrest warrants have since been issued for Derek Mahumad Cunningham and Johnny Clyde Crosby, Jr.
Cunningham is described as 5-foot-9, 205 pounds. Crosby is described as 6 feet tall, about 193 pounds.
If Crime Stoppers receives a tip leading to their arrest before midnight, the group plans to add $1,000 to the reward.
