Police arrest 2 in woman's murder on east side

Detroit — Police have arrested two suspects in the murder of a 33-year-old Detroit woman, who was fatally shot in the driveway of her home on the city's east side on Oct. 9.

The victim was found slain at about 8:15 a.m. on a driveway on the 16400 block of Collingham, said Dontae Freeman, a spokesman for the Detroit Police Department. The area is south of East Eight Mile and west of Kelly.

Police have made two arrests, Freeman said. But more details were not immediately available, including the suspects' genders and ages.
