Detroit police are working to find suspects connected to a fatal drive-by shooting Thursday night on the city's west side.

A preliminary investigation found gunshots were fired about 7:50 p.m. near the 22000 block of Lyndon from a gray, newer model Chevrolet Impala or Malibu with three males inside.

The victim, an unidentified man believed to be in his 40s, was struck at least once before the car fled south on Rockdale, police said. 

Other details, including a description of the suspects, were not released.
