Detroit — Detroit police are investigating a shooting early Friday that left a 53-year-old man in serious condition after at least one of the multiple shots fired into his living room hit him in the upper right arm.

The shooting happened around 12:45 a.m. in the 11000 block of Hubbell where gunshots came through the window. The unidentified man is in temporary serious condition as a result of the incident, said DPD spokesman Dan Donakowski.

"He was inside the home when shots came through," Donakowski said.

Police are continuing to investigate the shooting, he said.
