Detroit — Police have made two arrests and recovered three weapons and two vehicles believed to be connected to a fatal drive-by shooting Wednesday morning in downtown Detroit.

The fatal shooting took place Nov. 7 at 2:20 a.m. at Gratiot and St. Antoine, said Officer Holly Lowe, a Detroit Police Department spokeswoman.

The victim is a 24-year-old man, who was the front-seat passenger in a black Lexus ES 350 with a temporary license plate from Indiana.

As he sat in the Lexus, a white Dodge Challenger pulled up to the passenger side and started shooting, hitting the victim in his back and neck. At least three rounds hit the Lexus on the passenger side.

A red Dodge Charger was spotted in the area at the time of the shooting.

Police say two men, 29 and 30, were arrested, and both vehicles were recovered, along with three weapons.
