Authorities charged a 28-year-old man in a sexual assault on Detroit's west side.

Investigators allege the suspect, identified as Tyree Davis-Mills, approached the 18-year-old victim at a bus stop near a Project Green Light location in the 15500 block of Schoolcraft about 6 a.m. Saturday before pulling the woman into an alley and attacking her.

After officials released surveillance footage of the suspect, tips led to Davis-Mills being arrested Sunday in the 4000 block of Grand.

The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office approved charges, including kidnapping and first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Davis-Mills was arraigned Tuesday.
