Police seek help to ID suspect and car in double shooting


Detroit — The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating a suspect, and his vehicle, wanted in connection to a double shooting on the city’s east side.
At 3:15 p.m. on Sunday, two 18-year-old men were walking in the 1800 block of East Outer Drive when the suspect walked past the men, turned around and fired shots.
One of the victims was fatally wounded. The other was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police said the suspect is a man, 6’0” and 180 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with “NIKE” on the back, a white shirt underneath, black jogging pants and black shoes. He was armed.
The suspect’s vehicle is a gray or silver Dodge Charger with black stripes on the side, police said.
