Detroit — Lime green was the color of revenge after a sore loser at a dice game Saturday night on Detroit's west side returned to the scene of his losses and opened fire on the winner, a 25-year-old man.

The shooting took place about 8 p.m. on Taylor, west of Dexter, and south of Joy Road.

Police say the 25-year-old victim and the early-20s suspect were playing dice, and after the younger man lost, he left the scene.

But he returned a time later in a "boxy" sedan-style lime green vehicle, pulled out a handgun, and shot the winning player multiple times before fleeing.

Police said a sore loser at a dice game returned to the scene of his losses and open fire on the winner.

The victim was listed in stable condition after being privately conveyed to an area hospital.

Police describe the suspect as a black male 21 to 24 years old, 5 feet 4 to 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a slim build. He wore a T-shirt, shorts, and carried a handgun.
