Surveillance images of suspect in Detroit fatal shooting released

Detroit police released surveillance images of a suspect wanted in connection to a homicide on the city’s east side.

The suspect was caught on camera before the incident.

A 30-year-old man was inside the Cartier Ultra Lounge in the 11000 block of Morang around 2 a.m. June 23 when a fight broke out in the parking lot, investigators said in a statement.

The suspect "retrieved a weapon from an unknown vehicle and opened the outer door and fired a shot, fatally wounding the victim" before fleeing, according to the release.
