Detroit — Police are investigating a double shooting in Detroit early Tuesday morning that left one teen dead and a second in critical condition.

The double shooting took place about 1:10 a.m. on the 6300 block of Memorial. That's on Detroit's west side, north of Ford Road and east of the Southfield Freeway.

Police arrived at the home to find a 19-year-old man slain, with at least one gunshot wound.

A second 19-year-old man had also been shot. Medics took him to the hospital, where he's listed in critical condition.

Police say the circumstances preceding the shooting are unclear.
