Detroit — Three people were shot Friday night on the city's west side, police said.

Police said the incident occurred at about 9:10 p.m. in the 16200 block of Lahser Road near Puritan.

The department said the three victims — a 28-year-old man, 26-year-old man, and 33-year-old woman — were standing in front a residence on Lahser when a black Ford F-150 with tinted windows approached.

Occupants in the F-150 fired multiple gunshots in the direction of the victims and witnesses, striking the victims, police said.

The F-150 fled in an unknown direction. Victims told police the suspects were unknown.

The 28-year-old was taken to the hospital and listed in temporary serious condition. The 26-year-old male and 33-year-old female are in stable condition, all suffering gunshot wounds.

Police are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Detroit Police Department at (313) 596-2200. Anonymous tips also can be submitted to Crime Stoppers of Michigan at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
