Detroit — Police are seeking tips to find a 64-year-old woman missing since last week.

Relatives last saw Beverly Gibson about 5 a.m. Sept. 26 at her home on the 15000 block of Ashton on the city's west side, investigators said in a statement.

Police released a photo of Gibson on Wednesday.

Her daughter had been leaving for work and Gibson, who has a mental condition, was gone when she returned, according to the release. She has not seen or heard from her since then.

Gibson is described as 5-foot-9, 200 pounds, with brown eyes, a medium complexion, black and gray hair braided into a bun. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue joggers and white gym shoes.

Anyone who knows her whereabouts is asked to call Detroit Police Department's Eighth Precinct at (313) 596-5840. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers of Michigan at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
