Detroit police seek vehicle linked to Sept. 27 slaying

Detroit — Detroit police are seeking the public's assistance in locating a vehicle of interest in connection with a fatal shooting on the city's east side.

The shooting happened Sept. 27 at 11:30 a.m. in the 18000 block of Lamont near East Seven Mile and Ryan. 

Officials said it appears two men had arrived at a 23-year-old man's home to confront him about a post he put on social media.

An argument began and the two men got into the home and fatally shot the 23-year-old. The suspects then fled in a silver or gray Ford Fusion with damage to the front bumper.

Detroit police are seeking assistance in finding a vehicle of interest in a fatal shooting Sept. 27 on the city's east side.
