Detroit — Police are investigating an armed robbery Tuesday night at a bar on Detroit's west side.

Police say that about 9:10 p.m., two masked men entered a bar on the 7800 block of West Jefferson, east of West End, in Detroit's Delray neighborhood, and announced a holdup.

One of the men, armed with a rifle, fired two warning shots into the ceiling, and ordered a bar staffer, a 66-year-old man, to open the cash register.

The victim complied.

Police say the men left with "an undisclosed amount" of cash, as well as "multiple  bottles of assorted liquor" from behind the bar.

The suspects are in the 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 range and of medium build. Both wore masks and gloves and black hoodies. One carried the rifle, while the other had a handgun.
