Detroit — Detroit police are searching for two men in connection with the theft of rims and tires from a vehicle on the city's west side Thursday morning.

Police said at about 4:23 a.m. Thursday, a man walked onto the porch of a home on the 19000 block of Heyden on the city's west side and unscrewed the light bulb before moving to the vehicle.

The two men then removed the rims and tires from a burgundy 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee parked in front of a home, police said.

The men fled the area in a white Chevrolet Impala, police said.

The first male is described as having a goatee and wearing a dark-colored Detroit hoodie with white stripes down the sleeves.

The second male was described by police as wearing a dark hoodie.
