Detroit — Police are investigating a quadruple drive-by shooting late Wednesday night on Detroit's east side.
The shooting took place about 10:40 p.m. on the 5200 block of Canton, police said. That's just north of East Warren and west of Gratiot.
Police say the four victims were outside when a vehicle drove by. Someone inside it fired shots, which hit three men and one woman, whose ages were not immediately available.
Medics transported three of the victims to a hospital; the fourth was privately conveyed. Two people were listed in critical condition, and two are stable.
Police have no detailed description to offer of the shooters or their vehicle.
