Detroit — Detroit police say a situation at a home in the area of Burt and Dover on the city's west side where a woman with a gun had refused to come out has ended peacefully.

According to police, a woman suffering from a mental health crisis called 911.

When the officers arrived, the woman was holding a firearm and retreated into the home, police said.
