Shelby Township police are seeking the public’s help to find a man who robbed a weight loss clinic with a knife on Monday.

An employee at Dr. Quinn Weight Loss, 45977 Hayes, called 911 about 6:32 p.m. and said she had been robbed at knifepoint.

The worker told officers the man entered through the front door, approached her across the counter and wielded a knife, demanding money.

He left through the front door with an undisclosed amount of money and was seen getting into a black Mazda with tinted windows and a blue-and-white Michigan license plate.

He is described as approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, age 20-25, with black hair, facial stubble and an olive complexion. He was last seen wearing a white baseball cap with an Old English D on the front, white pants and a striped shirt.

Police said the man is believed to be connected to two other armed robberies in the township.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Shelby Township Police Department at (586) 731-2121, ext. 319.
