Clinton Twp. police seek tips in fatal crash

Clinton Township Police are investigating a fatal accident Monday on Groesbeck involving a female pedestrian.

Police have identified the woman as Lisa Ann Manley, 53, of Clinton Township.

Officials said a motorist in a black Dodge Nitro was traveling south on Groesbeck at about 7 a.m. when she struck Manley in the right through lane of the highway just south of Ulrich Street.

Manley was taken to a hospital where she died from her injuries, police said.

The motorist, a 25-year-old Clinton Township woman, was released from the scene of the accident and alcohol does not appear to have been a factor in the crash, officials said.
