Fraser cops search for 7-Eleven robbery suspect

Fraser — Police are looking for a gunman who robbed a 7-Eleven convenience store late Sunday night.

According to reports, the incident occurred at about 11:45 p.m. at the store located at 15 Mile and Garfield. Police said a man wearing a ski mask and armed with a handgun invaded the store.

After receiving an unknown amount of cash, the man fled to a nearby apartment complex where he was seen to jump into the passenger seat of a silver Jeep which fled southbound on Garfield.

The suspect is described as 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 9 inches fall with a medium build. He was wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, black pants, black shoes and light-colored gloves. Fraser police can be reached at (586) 293-1425.
