Roseville — No one was injured after a home was struck several times during an apparent drive-by shooting early Wednesday, police said.

Roseville police were called around 4:10 a.m. to the 28000 block of Rosemont Street when multiple neighbors called 911 to report gun fire. A single-family home had been struck by at least six bullets fired from what is believed to have been a high-powered hand gun, police said.

The homeowner said he was asleep at the time of the incident and could not or would not provide a reason why his home was targeted, police said.

There are no known suspects and the motive is unclear, according to police. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Roseville Police Department at (586) 447-4483.
