Macomb Township — The actions of an alert citizen has led to the arrest of two people who allegedly robbed a CVS store Sunday afternoon.

Robin Walker

According to the Macomb County Sheriff's Department, the incident occurred at about 4:45 p.m. at the CVS located at 23 Mile and Romeo Plank.

At that time, a man dressed all in black entered the store brandishing a black handgun. He showed a note to the cashier demanding money. After cleaning out the cash drawer, the man ran to a waiting car.

Noticing the man was acting suspiciously, a citizen took down the vehicle's license plate number and then provided it to responding deputies.

Walker was given a $250,000 cash or surety bond. Hilliard's bond was $100,000 cash or surety.
