High school student dies after fall from parking structure
Mount Clemens — An 18-year-old high school student has died in a fall from a hospital’s parking structure.
The Dakota High School student was declared dead Friday afternoon in McLaren Macomb Hospital’s emergency room.
The student fell about 4 p.m. Friday at the six-level parking structure in Mount Clemens.
Clinton Township Police Capt. Bruce Wade said that officers “responded to an injured person on the pavement.”
Wade says foul play is not suspected and that the student’s name was expected to be released Monday.
Dakota High School is in Macomb Township.
