Power has been restored to about 3,000 Warren homes and businesses that lost power due to a substation problem earlier Monday, DTE Energy representatives said.

Electricity was back on at 9 p.m., spokeswoman Stephanie Beres said.

“We worked throughout the day to make sure we were able to get the power back on,” she said. “Everyone is back up and running which is good news.”

A transformer issue at the substation first occurred between 7 a.m. and 8 am., Beres said.

The affected customers were roughly between Eight and 10 Mile roads and between Mound and Dequindre.
