Reward offered for info in Clinton Twp. couple’s deaths

The family of a Clinton Township couple found killed in their home Friday is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible.

The bodies of James McKeogh, 56, and Christy McKeogh, 55, were found Friday in their home in the 15000 block of Uthers. They died of blunt force trauma, according to an autopsy performed over the weekend.

According to Clinton Township police, a relative grew concerned after not being able to reach the couple by phone. He went to the home Friday and discovered the bodies.

Christy McKeogh’s cellphone and possibly some cash were missing, police said.

Visitation for the couple will be 1-9 p.m. Friday at Resurrection Funeral Home at 40800 Hayes in Clinton Township. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
