A woman’s body was found Wednesday inside a submerged car in St. Clair Shores, authorities said.
Police and fire personnel found a vehicle in the water behind 200 Shore Club Drive about 3 p.m. Wednesday.
There they found the sunken car “resting between the sea wall and a vacant boat well,” police said in a statement.
Investigators determined the vehicle had been underwater for several days.
Inside was the body of a white woman police identified as a Clinton Township resident in her early 20s.
An autopsy is expected to be conducted.
Other information was not released Wednesday. The investigation is ongoing, police said.
