Suspect sought in Mount Clemens bank robbery

Officials have released images of a man accused of robbing a bank Wednesday afternoon in Mount Clemens.

The suspect stole an unspecified amount of money around 12:50 p.m. from a Talmer Bank & Trust at 100 North Main, according to the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office.

He implied that he had a gun, but no weapon was seen during the robbery. The man passed the teller a note, received the cash and fled the bank.

The suspect is described by police as black man who is 40-50 years old, 6 feet 2 to 6 feet 5 inches tall and 220-225 pounds. He is bald with a graying goatee and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt or jacket with red trim. The man also wore blue jeans and white tennis shoes, officials said.
