Pedestrian fatally struck crossing Romeo Plank

A 29-year-old Macomb Township man was fatally struck early Saturday on Romeo Plank as he rode his bicycle home from work, according to the county’s sheriff’s office.

Kevin Clay Fletcher was going home from P.F. Chang at Partridge Creek around 1:23 a.m. when he was hit as he crossed the intersection of Romeo Plank and Hall roads, according to the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office. The suspected vehicle left the scene.

On Saturday afternoon, the sheriff’s office said detectives are looking for possibly two vehicles based on information from the scene and eyewitnesses. One vehicle is a light colored sedan and the second is a Jeep, possibly tan in color with at minimum a damaged headlight.
